We need your help!

The Point in Time (PIT) Count is a 24 hour snapshot of homelessness in our area. On January 28th and 29th, 2015 we will go into the community and physically count how many individuals are without homes this winter. The results of our count will be forwarded to legislation, which can have an impact on the amount of resources we receive to help individuals in this situation.

What you can do:

Gather Items

During the PIT count we will be interviewing individuals to collect basic demographic information. In exchange for their helps we will be offering backpacks filled with supplies. We need your help gathering these supplies to distribute. You can donate individually, or hold a drive to gather a large amount of items.

We need volunteers to help prepare for the count, as well as volunteers to help conduct the count. The donated supplies will need to be assembled in the backpacks and ready to distribute the day of the count. During the count, we will need empathetic volunteers to count and interview individuals.
